To help reduce future stinging insect issues, seal obvious nesting gaps, repair exposed or damaged wood, limit food and trash attractants, and monitor eaves, decks, sheds, and ground openings during the season.

Some activity is seasonal, but recurring nests around high-traffic areas should be handled carefully.
